Group Treatment Sessions

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills Groups

Jeremy Honsowetz, MA, LMHCWednesdays from 6 – 7 PM

Thursdays from 5 – 6 PM

The groups meet weekly to practice skills to build a life worth living. Mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness are the four core categories of skills that will be developed.    Please, contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to meet and be added to the second group.  You do not need to meet with me for individual therapy to participate in the group but would need to meet for an assessment prior to engaging in the group.  It is recommended that group members do meet with a DBT therapist in addition to attending the group in order to get the most out of treatment.

Seeking Safety

Jeremy Honsowetz, MA, LMHCTo Be Announced

A weekly group open to both men and women with PTSD and/or substance abuse. The group is an evidence based, cognitive behavioral treatment which focuses on developing coping skills and recovery. The group is not a place to share stories of trauma or substance use, but a place to feel safe and to develop skills to manage symptoms and develop safety.  There is currently a wait list for this group and it will begin once membership is full.  Please, contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to meet and be added to the group.  You do not need to meet with me for individual therapy to participate in the group but would need to meet for an assessment prior to engaging in the group.
